With its handmade, Ebony wood with sterling silver ring Maintain, this knife is light and well balanced. This knife comes with a double water buffalo horn bolster, and a lacquered magnolia wood saya cover, which is easy to clean and resistant to stain and odor.
The Yanagi Kiritsuke is moderately heavier with a with a blade that may be wider and a spine that may be thicker. The sword tip helps balance the weight of the knife and is really useful for chefs who are fascinated by a Yanagi Kiritsuke but have a smaller working space.
